Dr. Rebecca Kamil grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan with 5 brothers and sisters. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Following college, she spent one year living in Turkey as a Fulbright Scholar and then attended Medical School at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. She graduated with Distinction in Clinical Investigation and was selected to part of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
She completed her internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. For her dedication to patient care and education, she was given the Outstanding Intern Award and the Henkel Chief Resident Teaching Award.
Following graduation, she spent an additional 6 months at Johns Hopkins for Advanced Rhinology and Allergy training.
