Injections & Fillers

Whether or not you’ve received cosmetic procedures such as wrinkle relaxers like Botox or dermal fillers, you should determine whether you want to use them well before your planned event. Then, meet with your physician at least 8 weeks before your event and determine your treatment timeline. Doing so allows you to ensure your plan delivers optimal results.

ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery Specialists of Shady Grove offers Botox and Dysport non-surgical wrinkle relaxers. These treatments effectively relax dynamic wrinkles, which occur when you make a facial expression. If you are concerned about static wrinkles, which appear when your face is relaxed, consider using volumizing fillers like Juvederm and Restylane

Facials

Relieving your skin of dullness, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, and pigmentary changes lies at the foundation of skincare. Thus, it’s essential to get started early on. Get a facial tailored to your skin’s needs 6-8 months before your event. This timeline leaves space for continued treatment if necessary. Moreover, your skin will be prepared for the resurfacing and healing treatments that follow.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peels rejuvenate your skin by removing the outermost layer of skin cells. This treatment diminishes acne, scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and skin dullness. It consists of applying an acidic mixture to the face, which gives way to fresh skin underneath.

Depending on the intensity of the treatment, your skin may need several weeks to heal. We recommend receiving your chemical peel 3-4 months before your event.

Microneedling

Microneedling stimulates your body’s wound-healing process to rejuvenate your skin. This aesthetic service uses Skinpen to create microchannels in the skin, which treat acne scars, wrinkles, and lines. It also diminishes large pores and age spots. Some redness and irritation may follow, so have your treatment done 1-2 months before your event.

HydraFacial

In the weeks immediately preceding your wedding, focus on hydrating your skin. Book a HydraFacial, which cleanses, extracts, and hydrates your skin, leaving it saturated with peptides and antioxidants for locked-in moisture. Moreover, hydrated skin appears supple and creates a smooth canvas for applying event-day makeup.

We offer 3 types of Hydrafacials, all of which provide a relaxing experience during event planning. We recommend the Deluxe Hydrafacial, which includes LED light treatment, or the Platinum HydraFacial, which also includes lymphatic therapy.

Laser Treatments

Our team offers a variety of laser treatment options tailored to treat various concerns, including:

  • Hair Removal
  • Varicose & Spider Veins Treatment
  • Anti-Aging Treatments
  • Treatment of Pigmentary Changes
  • Treatment of Acne Scars
  • Radiance, Texture, and Laxity Improvement

Begin laser treatments 6-8 months before your event, as you may need multiple treatments. We also give your skin time to recover.
